As a local artist, I value ways to help the Twin Cities art community come together. With this vision in mind, I have ventured to create Prism Art Collective in hopes of achieving it. The mission of Prism is to increase opportunities for artists to exhibit, as well as creating local awareness of how important art is to our lives. Establishing community support can be a challenging and decisive factor for artists participating in all forms of exhibition. A primary objective of Prism is to alleviate that expense. The goal is to foster financial sponsorships from local businesses to help. I believe with this partnership, the Minneapolis community will grow stronger as a whole. With financial help, artists within the collective possess the opportunity to display their talent. Giving emerging artists a chance to exhibit at significant venues can catalyze their careers and elevate the creative spirit of our community.
The definition of embolden is to encourage.
Embolden is the pop up art show that is presented by Prism. Establishing these events are aimed to inspire a closer and stronger art community. With the growth of this vision, the hope is to provide a continually growing network of talent locally, and nationally. We are always looking for artists to showcase for future shows.
